R.J. Civilian Clothes FINAL

The only real differences are his hat and his hoodie I suppose, but they still feel like a lot of differences

Anyway, I changed his clothes yet again because they weren't giving off the right feel (plus that chullo was annoying to draw).

I wanted R.J. to look like an awkward introvert, yes, but I also wanted to give off a sense of aloofness, irritation, and a bit of danger. 

The only one that messes with him is Carver because he knows R.J. wouldn't actually hurt him, but the rest of the school usually thinks of him as a (pardon the term but that's what they'd use) "social retard" or an arrogant bastard who would just as soon punch you in the face for a wrong look while answering complicated questions without knowing the material being taught.

Both are misconceptions of course, but R.J. hates being at the school and he doesn't exactly understand how to hide it so it comes off as as jerkish.

I dunno why, but this kind of hat (I'm horrible with clothing terminology) seems to fit both adorable nerds and ticking time bomb delinquents so putting it on R.J. expresses both.

When I drew the hoodie on R.J. I realized it kind of looked like something Wesley might own too, so I added the "W" to suggest it had been Wesley's before but was given to R.J. so he could feel like he was always being hugged by Wesley. Though I dropped the "gay bashing bullying" of Carver's interactions with R.J. in favor of "bullying because of mental illness," I figured it would be okay for R.J. to wear to school because the schools's name is Writhen so it looks like a school hoodie.

Anywho I think it's a keeper. Plus it fits with the new R.J. I've designed. Since his creation he's gotten shorter, more slender, more sloped, and rounder (note the button nose and bigger cheeks), and these clothes feel, I dunno, softer?
